Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Chase Westbrook, doing business as Meridian Light ("Meridian Light," "we," "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information on mypensionportal.org (the "Site") and through the free educational review we offer. My Pension Portal is an independent educational resource. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any employer, school, university, government agency, or pension plan.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to schedule and hold an educational review and to contact you if you ask us to.

• Information you give us when you book a review (the fields on our Meridian booking form): Full Name, Work Email, Personal Email, Mobile, Employer/District, Department/School, Job Title, State, Message, and the date, time, and time zone you choose, plus your email consent choice. Some of these fields are optional. We use employer, school, and job title only to understand your questions; they are not shown on the Site and do not mean we are connected with any of them.
• Scheduling information: the date and time of the review you book, and the video-call link for it.
• Information you email us: if you use the "Prefer email? Send me a note" link, your email program sends us the message you write, which reaches us at contact@mypensionportal.org. If you submit your details through a contact form on the Site, we collect the first and last name, email address, optional phone number, and consent choice you enter, plus the time of submission, the page you submitted from, your browser type, and your approximate country.
• Unsubscribe requests: the email address you ask us to stop contacting, and the time of the request.
• Technical information: basic data your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes this to deliver the Site and keep it secure and free of spam and abuse. The Meridian booking calendar, which loads inside the page, receives the same kind of data directly from your browser.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account numbers, pension account details, health information, or precise location. Please do not include them in any form or message.

How we collect it

You give us information directly when you book a review on our scheduling calendar, submit an unsubscribe request, submit a contact form, or email us. The scheduling calendar is provided by Meridian, our customer-relationship-management (CRM) service, which is built on HighLevel; your booking details are stored in Meridian. Contact-form submissions are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a storage service from our hosting provider, and may also be added to Meridian as a contact record. Unsubscribe requests are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV.

How we use it

• To schedule, confirm, and hold the educational review you booked.
• To send you emails you asked for, and only if you checked the email consent box.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To honor opt-outs and keep a record of them.
• To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not build profiles of you for advertising.

Consent to email

When you book a review, you may choose to agree to be contacted by Meridian Light by email. Consent is optional and is not a condition of booking a review. We contact you by email only if you agree. We do not send marketing text messages. We may call or text you only about a review you scheduled or a request you made, if you gave us a mobile number for that purpose.

How to opt out of email

You can stop emails at any time by any of these methods:

• Click the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
• Use our unsubscribe page.
• Email unsubscribe@mypensionportal.org.

We honor opt-out requests promptly and no later than 10 business days after we receive them. If you booked a review, please include every address you gave us (work and personal) so we can remove all of them. Opting out does not require you to pay a fee, take any step beyond sending the request. After you opt out, we may still send you messages about a review you already scheduled, and we keep your email address on a suppression list so we do not contact you again.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose it for targeted advertising. We share it only as follows:

• Meridian (HighLevel): our CRM and scheduling service. It stores your contact record and booking details and sends our emails.
• Cloudflare: hosts the Site, routes traffic and email for our domain, and stores email-form submissions in Cloudflare Workers KV.
• Zoom: hosts the video call for your review.
• Google: the booking calendar loads fonts and a script from Google servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the calendar loads (see "Cookies, third-party requests, and similar technologies"). We do not send Google any other information.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfer: if the business is sold or reorganized, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.

These providers may use your information only to provide services to us, under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not give your information to employers, schools, universities, or pension plans, and we do not tell them that you contacted us.

Cookies, third-party requests, and similar technologies

Here is what the Site actually loads and sets. We checked this on October 27, 2026 by reviewing the page source and HTTP response headers. These services can change their behavior, so this list may become out of date.

• Our own pages (mypensionportal.org): served by Cloudflare. In our check, our pages did not set any cookies. The fonts, styles, and scripts for our own pages are served from our own domain. We do not use advertising pixels, analytics tools, or social media widgets on our pages.
• Meridian booking calendar: the booking section is an embedded frame from Meridian (HighLevel), loaded from api.leadconnectorhq.com. The embed script is loaded from link.msgsndr.com. The calendar loads resources from HighLevel domains (including leadconnectorhq.com, msgsndr.com, filesafe.space, and apisystem.tech) and from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com for fonts, and storage.googleapis.com for a frame-resizing script). Your browser therefore sends your IP address and browser details to those providers when the calendar loads. In our check, the calendar's response set a Cloudflare bot-protection cookie (__cf_bm, which lasts about 30 minutes). The embed script also reads and uses browser cookies, local storage, and session storage to make the calendar work. The calendar may use CAPTCHA or similar spam protection when you submit the form. We do not control these services; their privacy policies and terms apply. We do not add advertising or analytics tracking to the calendar.
• Cloudflare: may set or use security cookies (such as the bot-protection cookie above) and processes request data to protect and deliver the Site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the calendar may not work correctly if you do. The Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because we do not track you across websites. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so a Global Privacy Control signal does not change how we handle your information.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. We do not currently use automatic deletion. Instead, we review stored leads and CRM contacts periodically, and we aim to do so at least every 24 months, and we delete or anonymize records we no longer need.

• Contact-form submissions and unsubscribe requests in our storage (Cloudflare Workers KV): kept until we review and delete or anonymize them, or until you ask us to.
• CRM contact and booking records (Meridian): kept while we have an ongoing relationship with you and reviewed periodically afterward, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
• Unsubscribe and suppression records: kept as long as needed to honor your opt-out.
• On request: we delete or anonymize your information when you ask, subject to the exceptions below.

We may keep limited information if needed to comply with the law, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or keep your opt-out on file.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and service providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

• confirm whether we process your personal information and give you access to it, including a portable copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your information;
• stop emailing you (see "How to opt out of email").

To make a request, email privacy@mypensionportal.org. We will verify your identity by matching details you give us with what we hold, and we will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend that once by up to 45 more days and will tell you why. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response and writing "Appeal" in the subject line. We will answer within 60 days. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General or your state attorney general.

Notice to Texas residents

If you live in Texas, you have the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling in furtherance of significant decisions. We do none of these. We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined by Texas law. Request or appeal as described above.

Notice to California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. In the past 12 months we collected these categories: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); professional or employment-related information (employer or district, department or school, job title); geographic information (state); and the content of messages you send us. We collected them from you and from your browser. We used them for the purposes in "How we use it" and disclosed them to the service providers listed in "Sharing" for business purposes. We have not sold or shared personal information in the past 12 months. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of consumers under 16. To exercise your rights, email privacy@mypensionportal.org. California residents may also have rights under California Civil Code section 1798.83 to ask about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we make no such disclosures.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact privacy@mypensionportal.org and we will delete it.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to other websites and uses third-party tools such as the scheduling calendar and video calls, which load content from the providers named in "Cookies, third-party requests, and similar technologies." We do not control them, and their privacy policies apply to what they collect.

Commercial email compliance (CAN-SPAM)

Our commercial emails identify us as the sender, use accurate "From" and subject lines, include our physical mailing address (shown under "Contact" below), and include a clear way to unsubscribe. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will give more prominent notice, such as by email if you are on our list.
